Even the rain couldn’t dampen our spirits. Despite a soggy start — half an hour of proper downpour followed by a light drizzle — our Annual Halloween Workshop 2025Ā on Friday, 31st OctoberĀ turned into a genuinely lovely afternoon. Over fifty children and parents joined us, bringing laughter, creativity, and plenty of Halloween spirit. šŸ‘»

LenaĀ greeted our families at the door (first inside then out in the garden), umbrella in hand, making sure everyone was safely signed in and out. Her calm welcome set the tone for the day — steady, friendly, and warm.

A woman in an orange witch hat greets two women and a child in a festive hallway. Halloween decor and a "Watch Your Step" sign are visible.

Out in the garden, safely under cover, Unity — dressed as a cheerful scarecrow — led the Pumpkin CarvingĀ table. Both children and adults joined in, and we soon had a row of brilliant jack-o’-lanterns glowing with imagination. šŸŽƒ

Inside the preschool room, our craft tables were busy and full of chatter. Vira, in her pink and white unicorn onesie, helped children make Spider Web Paper Plates, complete with chocolate coin spiders and tiny plastic creepy-crawlies.

At another table, BethanĀ guided little ones in creating Ghost Balloons — simple white balloons turned into floating ghostly friends.

Meanwhile, CarolineĀ supported the snack corner, where children prepared White Chocolate Banana Ghosts — small, spooky treats that disappeared in no time. šŸŒ

Lauren’sĀ face-painting corner added a touch of magic to the day — she turned children into pumpkins, spiders, and black cats with her usual calm patience and steady hand. šŸŽØ

Earlier, AlishaĀ made everyone smile with her dinosaur rider costume before joining AleeshaĀ in the baby room, making sure our youngest children had a gentle and happy afternoon too. Toward the end, the atmosphere naturally softened — families moved between the garden and preschool room, chatting and enjoying the last activities before heading home. šŸ’›

Thanks to Aleesha swapping with me earlier, I was able to lead our Halloween Treasure HuntĀ outside. The children searched for hidden Halloween pictures around the nursery, and once they had found them all, they could come and collect a sweet treat. Their excitement and laughter made the whole activity feel truly special. šŸ•µļøā€ā™€ļøšŸ¬

Despite the rain, it was a memorable afternoon for us — and hopefully for all the families who joined us.

A heartfelt thank you to all our past, present, and future familiesĀ for being part of it, and to our amazing teamĀ for their dedication and help on the day. šŸŽƒ
