Nibbles, not your average Easter Bunny

Inflatable Easter bunny holding a paintbrush and egg stands by a wooden gate with "Fun Box Day Nursery" sign. Brick wall and church list in view.

Right, so Nibbles wasn’t your typical Easter Bunny. He wasn’t majestic, he wasn’t elegant, and frankly, he wasn’t very good at being a bunny. Bit scruffy, bit clueless, always had a crumb stuck to his chin. You get the picture.

He was born in a burrow just outside Totton, but he never quite fit in. The other bunnies were all about neat little nests and dainty little hops. Nibbles? He was the type to trip over his own feet and somehow end up with his ears stuck in a fence. Not ideal.

One day, after yet another failed attempt at looking graceful, he thought, ‘You know what? Maybe the whole traditional bunny thing isn’t for me.’ So, he left. No plan, no map, just wandered into Totton like some scruffy drifter looking for purpose.

Then he found Fun Box Day Nursery. Kids running about, snacks everywhere, no one expecting him to be fancy or serious. Perfect. They took him in, gave him a bit of attention (which he loved), and before he knew it, he was their Easter Bunny. Not because he was the best—he was just… there. And enthusiastic. And, let’s be honest, no one else was volunteering.

So now, every Easter, he lumbers about hiding eggs, getting overly excited about chocolate, and generally making a mess of things. But the kids love him, and really, that’s all that matters. Right?
