As summer draws to a close and a new season begins, this past week at Fun Box has been a truly emotional one—full of smiles, cuddles, a few tears, and plenty of heartfelt moments. It’s been a week of hellos and goodbyes, of new beginnings and fond farewells.

👋 Welcoming Our Newest Little Learners (and Their Families) – First Days at Nursery

There’s been a real sense of new beginnings this week, as children—and their parents—took those first important steps into nursery life together.

The first days at nursery are a big transition, and we know it brings a mix of emotions for families. Whether it’s a first time away from home or a new routine to adjust to, our team is always here to support you through those early days with warmth and understanding.

With the gentle guidance of their key-persons, our new toddlers began to explore the nursery with growing confidence. From discovering toys and making early friendships indoors to enjoying time in our lovely garden, the week was full of important firsts.

Meanwhile, our baby room welcomed its tiniest new arrivals. The babies explored sensory toys, watched bubbles float through the air, and giggled their way through games of peek-a-boo and singing sessions. It was a joy to watch their faces light up as they became more familiar with their surroundings and started to feel at home.

These early moments of connection lay the foundation for secure relationships, emotional resilience, and a lifelong love of learning—and we’re honoured to be part of that journey.

🎓 Saying Goodbye to Our School Leavers

And while we welcomed many new faces, we also said some fond goodbyes.

This week, we waved off our wonderful school leavers, many of whom attended Fun Box throughout the summer. Their final days were filled with joy—playing with best friends, sharing laughs, and enjoying lots of cuddles from their key-persons.

It’s always bittersweet to see children move on, but we’re filled with pride knowing they’re ready for their next adventure. We’ll truly miss their energy, their stories, and the many special moments we’ve shared together.

We hope their time at Fun Box has given them the confidence and curiosity to embrace big school with the same enthusiasm they brought to nursery.
