Getting Ready for World Book Day 2024 📚✨

World Book Day is just around the corner, and we’ve been having so much fun getting ready! 🌟 Celebrated every year, this special day is all about inspiring a love of reading and letting imaginations soar. What better way to get into the spirit than with some themed tuff trays?

Last week, we brought Jack and the Beanstalk and The Three Billy Goats’ Gruff to life!

Jack and the Beanstalk 🌱

Our tuff tray was transformed into a magical world with green and broad beans, a giant castle and Jack's house for the children to explore.

The different textures, materials and small world models helped to children to re-enact the story.

The Three Billy Goats’ Gruff 🐐

For this tray, we created a wobbly bridge using lego blocks with gruff little goats on one side and the troll lurking underneath. The children enjoyed acting out the story and deciding who could cross safely—lots of giggles and imaginative play!

These trays not only celebrate the stories but also help develop storytelling skills, creativity, and social play. We can’t wait to see what other book-themed adventures we’ll dive into as we count down to World Book Day! 📖🌈
