Continuing Our Healthy Journey with creative activities for healthy eating 🍎🥦

Building upon last week's focus on health, we've delved deeper into exploring fun and engaging ways to keep healthy. The children have been enthusiastic participants in a variety of activities designed to educate and entertain.


Healthy Fruit Teas 🍊🍋

We introduced the little ones to the delightful world of fruit teas. Using fresh oranges and lemons, the children helped prepare and taste these refreshing drinks, learning about different flavours and the benefits of staying hydrated.



Exploring Fruits and Vegetables in Creative Ways 🥕🎨

There are many Creative activities for healthy eating. To make learning about healthy foods exciting, we engaged in several imaginative activities:

  • Veggies and Shaving Foam: The children had a blast mixing vegetables with shaving foam, creating a sensory experience that sparked conversations about textures and the importance of vegetables in our diet.



  • Broccoli Jungle: We transformed broccoli into a miniature jungle, encouraging the children to use their imagination while discussing the nutritional value of greens.



  • Phonics with Veggies: Incorporating education into play, we used various vegetables to practice phonics, helping the children associate letters with healthy foods.




Budding Artists at Work 🌈🦕

Our creative sessions saw the children painting vibrant rainbows and dinosaurs.



They experimented with pencils, crayons, and paints, expressing themselves artistically while developing fine motor skills.



It's been a week filled with laughter, learning, and lively discussions about health. We're proud to see the children embracing these activities with such enthusiasm, setting the foundation for lifelong healthy habits.
